Solid Black Performance
We had an opportunity to aquire 088 from John Rode back in 2021 however it was not meant to be at that time. We kept a close eye on the whereabouts of this unique bull when fate brought us back together again in 2025 and we were not about to make the same mistake twice. 088 possesses more natural thickness than any other Black Hereford Bull we have encountered in a solid black package. He is moderate framed and extremely docile. Did I mention that he is homozygous black and homozygous polled? We cannot wait to see what this exciting sire adds to our 2026 calf crop!

Our quest to find the perfect herdsire for pasture coverage in 2024 took us the Purdue University for the IBEP Sale. X-Factor excelled on test and his performance showed in the ring commanding the second high selling price. This unique sire combines Charlie Adams Leader bull with Rode Hause Black Herefords Outcross bull. When you combine genetics from two breed leading programs... how can you not be like yes please??? X-Factor semen was used in some of the nation's top programs last summer and we are excited to see the results in 2025!

Our Foundation Sire
Building the genetic base for the operation was the first step... finding nationally known sire to walk the pastures with them was the second. Not many operations of our size have a sire of this quality on display to act as the resident herdsire. We acquired Thunderstruck in the spring of 2019 and have been amazed by his breeding merit. His calves hit the ground unassisted and have phenomenal growth characteristics. We are currently testing a group of progeny and have been extremely pleased with their performance.
We have never owned a bull as consistent as Thunderstruck. The greatest compliment that a seedstock producer can receive is when buyers walk the pasture and cannot make up their mind on which bull or heifer prospect to purchase. His calves have style to spare and their disposition is second to none.
