How many times has a particular program or certain genetics caught your eye but either sire selection or sheer distance from the cattle impacted your interest in purchasing?  I was trying to revolutionize the way we market our genetics nationally to breeders of all size and scope when it hit me... put the purchaser in the driver's seat with cutting edge genetics while eliminating the numerous issues that pertain to live animal transport.  We are providing an unheard of opportunity to purchase a flush on our best females before we flush them in this unique opportunity.  Hence the concept for our 2022 "Heart of the Herd" Flush Event was born.   

In order to bring the best to the table, we are offering our best 4 heifers from the 2021 calf crop currently being developed at the Pennsylvania Livestock Evaluation Center.  This group would be considered the "untouchables" in many herds.  You will have the opportunity to flush the full sisters to Diesel, Chiseled and Turbo before we ever get the first calf on the ground out of these cutting edge genetics.  Now here is the best part and why I refer to it as a "genetics by design" offering... YOU GET TO PICK THE SIRE!!!  I am opening up our most elite genetics and giving you the wheel to see which direction you want to take them.  Sire selection will be entirely at the discretion of the buyer in each of the 4 potential flushes... whether you are seeking high percentages, increased performance, maternal ability, pigmentation, or phenotype the choice is entirely up to you!

Your purchase price will include all expenses incurred in a flush with a guarantee of 6 conventional embryos with a cap of 10.  In the event less than 6 are collected, the purchase price will be prorated or we will provide an option to flush again.  If greater than 10 embryos are collected from the flush, the remaining embryos may be purchased for an additional cost of $175 each.  Purchaser will be responsible for all shipping expenses associated with semen/embryo shipping.  As a bonus, we will provide semen for each flush free of charge for any bulls currently in our tank inventory which include some hidden gems!  Can't decide on a bull... winning bidder on each lot will have option to flush again by doubling the purchase price.  

It is important to note that your purchase price will include the cost of the flush.  There will be no hidden fees or expense as shipping will be only additional charge.  Bidding will be completed via email to michael@shermanbeefcattle.com and will end on 02/13/22 at 12:00 PM EST.   Final Bid order will be determined by date/time email is received so get those bids in early!  Opening bid will be $2,800 for each lot with $100 bid increments.  We will not "run up" any bids as they will all go for $2,800 if there is only one bid per lot so bid with confidence.  In the event that you are outbid within the final hour of the sale, a bid-off will take place between only those bidders on each lot after 12:00 PM EST.  Half of the purchase price is due by February 23, 2022 with balance due at conclusion of flush.  Bids will be maintained on this site daily and via our Facebook page.  Note: pictures will be updated this week as calf photos were used.
